Reviews
By far the worst service we have ever had at a sushi train very few items were on the train and items ordered were taking 20 mins to get made. Food is nice when you actually get it but very small serves of sushi compared to other places.
The best sushi train in Hobart.. happy to be corrected.
The sushi was ordinary at this place. It’s a tourist trap, in my view. Prime location: near the water etc… but ordinary food and service. It was grossly expensive. We paid circa $8.50 for two bits of sushi the same we pay circa $4.50 in Brisbane. There was also a large black hair in our food, which must be reflective of their hygiene practices vis a vis their food preparation. We told them when leaving, and the staff member said she’d pass it on.
Try the tempura sushi.
The best experience is to go when there are not so many people. The food is great, service is excellent, overall experience 10/10
It's not a meal. I simply ordered some sushi and I had to wait for nearly 15-20 minutes. However, the service staff was very nice and the sushi was freshly made. It tasted good and was suitable for a light meal. However, the price has increased significantly. Some sushi costs RMB 5 per piece. Six knives.
Disappointing as I went for the sushi train but there literally was barely or more so near to nothing on the sushi train. I literally sat there for a good 2mins waiting for sushi but nothing came and if a plate of sushi did come by it would be the same sushi that would be going around and around on the train throughout the whole time. I ended having to order my sushi which was disappointing as the experience felt like it was a waste and that I could have just gone to a sushi store to order more and better sushi. Waste of money tbh
This is a sushi restaurant that feels "authentic".
